The Dolans most recently have been linked to attempting to (re)take Cablevision private. His uncle, Larry, owns the Cleveland Indians. The Dolans have abiding Cleveland connections. Bruce Ratner, owner of the New Jersey Nets, is himself a Cleveland native. While I’m at it, George Steinbrenner, the Boss and infamous Yankees owner, is from Cleveland as well.
